FLEETCOR Technologies, Inc., a company that handles business payments and is headquartered in Norcross, is collaborating with BlueVine, a provider of small business banking, to help businesses apply for relief funding from the federal government through the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).
The PPP provides loans fully guaranteed by the federal government to assist with cash flow issues. The experienced advisors and technology of BlueVine provide an online service that enables FLEETCOR customers to easily apply for these funds which can be used for payroll. Congress recently approved an additional $310 million to fund this program.
Those who are eligible to apply for the program are small business with 500 or fewer employees and that have also been in operation before February 15 of this year. This includes non-profit organizations, self-employed individuals, independent contractors, and sole proprietorships, among others. Print shops can be hired to create materials with more information about such programs, including eligibility and the application process.
Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of BlueVine, Eyal Lifshitz, said that the PPP loan application is convenient, fast, and available for all businesses, including those that have not worked previously with the company. Lifshitz expressed his excitement about being able to partner with FLEETCOR on this important effort to protect and support small businesses at this time.
