Mighty Distributing System of America Inc. (MDSA), headquartered in Norcross, recently announced expansion of its business relationships with the chain of Jiffy Lube stores in Nevada, Utah, and the Carolinas.
A Mighty Auto parts store has opened in Charlotte and is owned by Commercial Importadora S.A. de C.V. (CiSA Mexico), which also operates eight Jiffy Lube stores in South Carolina and 11 more in North Carolina. CiSA Mexico is based in Mexico City and a distributor of lubricants, with exclusive rights to distribute the Pennzoil and Quaker State brands in Mexico and in several Caribbean and Central American countries. Such stores may turn to Promotional Products to advertise new brands and products to the public.
COO of CiSA Lubes USA, Joel Walker, said the company is very excited about its new Mighty business, whose products will help to increase profits and information resources will enable its stores to run more efficiently. President and CEO of Mighty, Ken Voelker, added his excitement about having CiSA Lubes USA as part of its company. He said there is a good strategic fit between the two companies, and he expects that Walker will take advantage of the many opportunities that will result from the relationship.
CiSA Lubes USA is planning to build a business-to-business program with other customers as well as providing Mighty’s parts in its Jiffy Lube stores.
