Norcross and Atlanta tree and lawn care companies to merge

Downey Trees Inc. of Atlanta, a full-service tree company with offices in Norcross, Savannah, and Destin, Florida, will be merging with SavATree of Atlanta, the leader in the industry of professional shrub, tree, and lawn care.

Stationery printers are often used when such mergers take place, as there is a need for new Letterheads, business cars, and many other types of business-related printing.

This will expand the presence of SavATree in Georgia as a result of the Savannah location and enable the company to have its first entry into the Florida market. The Norcross offices of both companies will combine to increase their presence in the Atlanta area.

Downey Trees has become ones of the largest local companies in the Southeast since it began operations in 1984. Its focus is on homeowners’ associations, property managers, and commercial clients, providing vegetation management, plant health care, emergency response services, and tree care, among other services. The merger will now afford clients access to wider range of services, such as tick and mosquito treatments, consulting services, professional lawn care, and deer deterrents.

Paul Bagley, owner of Downey Trees, expressed his excitement about the merger. He said there are many shared philosophies between the two companies regarding standards, values, and quality, so that having the two companies working together will have a greater impact for their clients.
