New apartment complex to come to suburban Atlanta

The development of a multifamily rental community will soon be underway in the Perimeter neighborhood of Atlanta now that financing has been secured by Crescent Communities.

Located in Sandy Springs, Crescent Perimeter will have 320 apartments, with one to three bedrooms. It will be in the Lakeside office park, which is 26 acres in size, and will be consist of four- and five-story buildings constructed around a parking deck. Occupancy is scheduled for the third quarter of 2018.

Many businesses have recently been attracted to the Central Perimeter business district, including The Weather Channel, State Farm, and Mercedes-Benz USA. People who work in Norcross city might also consider living in this new community, which is a short distance from the city, as might those who work in Pill Hill – the largest concentration of medical offices and hospitals in the Atlanta area.

Managing Director of the Atlanta office for Crescent, Kyle Brock, said that a strong demand for housing has been created due to job growth in the Atlanta area. Fortune-Johnson Inc. of Norcross is the general contractor for the project and is also now grading the site and preparing it for construction.

Various printing companies can be hired to create printed material that can be distributed to people working in the area who might want to consider relocating to these new apartments.
