Birchwood Foods is planning to open a new facility in Norcross next month and is planning to hire close to 100 new members of its team.
The company has invested in an expansion of a facility that will be 80,000 square feet in size and come in at a cost of $33m. This expansion will require the hiring of many full-time positions, including production workers and supervisors, maintenance supervisors, machine operators, and workers for the first and third shifts. Many of such managerial positions will most likely require business card printing services.
The company recently was awarded a contract with a new major restaurant chain and will be producing 60 million pounds of meat on a yearly basis.
Birchwood Foods is headquartered in Kenosha, Wisconsin and supplies frozen and fresh ground beef patties to many national food chains, such as Burger King and Wendy’s. The company prides itself on its safe and high-quality food and ensures that all its meats are accurate and consistent along its product lines.
The company is also known for its family-oriented values and involvement in the community, supporting many charitable organizations through volunteer work and monetary donations. The Future Farmers of America, United Way, Salvation Army, and Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce are some of the non-profit organizations it is known to support.
