Ice cream place to open in Norcross

A third brick and mortar location of Butter & Cream will be opening in Norcross. The ice-cream shop will be just south of Holcomb Bridge Road in the South End development of historic Norcross on South Peachtree Street.

Stacy Gunther, owner of Butter & Cream, said that the space spoke to her when she first saw it and thought it had a lot of potential. She expressed her excitement about the South End project and about the city itself, which she said has a great community feeling.

Butter & Cream will span about 750 square feet, somewhat smaller than its other locations. There will be a few tables for dining inside but much more seating outdoors. Poster printing can be used to publicize the opening of a new shop in town and promote its features and offerings.

Gunther founded Butter & Cream in 2014. The shop is an artisan creamery that is known for its classic flavors as well as its many unique combinations of flavors. Its signature flavors include Honeycomb Forest, Butterscotch Brownie, and OG Goodness, which is a brown sugar ice cream with St. Louis butter cake. The menu also features shakes, sorbet, and baked goods made from scratch in-house as well as rotating and seasonal flavors.

Gunther said that the space is currently being designed and expects that it will be opened and fully operational by late spring of this year.
