Atlanta to revel in music of Star Wars

A Star Wars concert will be held in Atlanta this April.

The Star Wars movie series as inspired individuals around the world since the first movie was released nearly 50 years ago, with the musical score being a big part of its influence. “Star Wars: The Force Awakens in Concert” will be held at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, featuring the score composed by John Williams, who won five Academy Awards, eleven British Academy Film Awards, and four Golden Globe Awards. Also involved will be Christopher Confessore as a guest conductor.

Tickets are currently available and prices will be based on seating areas. They can be bought through the Ticketmaster listing, ranging in price from $89.50 to $365. All those in attendance are required to have a ticket, and the event is not recommended for children. Individuals will be able to park on-site at the Woodruff Arts Center.
