The Little 5 Points Halloween Festival and Parade returns to Atlanta next month with two days of spooky fun activities for all ages. Little 5 Points (L5P) is a funky historic neighborhood that is home to a blend of many alternative cultures.
Presented by the L5P Cultural District Association and the L5P Business Association, the event is known as the biggest Halloween celebration in the Southeast. The highlight of the festival is the annual parade, which will feature crazy costumes, Halloween-inspired marching bands, and eccentric floats.
There will be spine-tingling events, including a haunted house with special frightening 3D effects, as well as festival ghost tours. A clairvoyant guide will take participants on 90-minute walking tours through historic and eerie landmarks at various times during Halloween week.
Other events will include pumpkin smashing, skateboarding, a wrestling competition, street buskers, live music and a Halloween photo walk.
In addition, an artists' market is expected to attract more than 100 vendors who will be set up in booths and tents along Euclid Avenue. They will be joined by area food trucks offering refreshments. Vendors who join in festivals such as this often use poster printing to advertise their products.
Atlanta’s Little Five Points Halloween Festival and Parade will be held on Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19, from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm each day. The parade will be on Sunday at noon.
