Next month’s Atlanta Dogwood Festival is one of the biggest juried art festivals in the country. It’s an opportunity for many local businesses to get involved as sponsors who often use printing services to help promote their products and services.
The 89th festival is expected to attract more than 200 national artists in a dozen categories. Painters, potters, jewelry makers, photographers, as well as artists working with clay, glass, wood and mixed media will participate in the Artist Market.
Each year, the festival also supports the Atlanta High School Art Exhibition (AHSAE) allowing budding young artists to experience a juried event in which they can compete for prizes and scholarships. The AHSAE has partnered with the festival since 1970 and, in past years, has had as many as 690 pieces of art from 83 schools apply to be displayed in the exhibition.
The Dogwood festival is much more than fine art as it also features a diverse line-up of entertainers performing on two stages during the three-day event.
Festival attendees can enjoy Party in the Park, a range of VIP ticket experiences that can include special seating for entertainment, beverage tastings, lunch from food trucks and other perks.
Youngsters visiting the festival will find their own play area at the Kids Village. It will include hands-on crafts, puppet shows, face painting, inflatables and much more.
The Atlanta Dogwood Festival will be held April 11 to 13, 2025 in Piedmont Park.
