Atlanta hosts seafood festival

The Oyster Crawfish Festival will return for its 21st consecutive year in Atlanta.

At the festival, guests will enjoy platters containing 1.5lb of seasoned crawfish, corn, and potatoes. The crawfish servings may only be available until sunset, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early.

For those who prefer a different kind of shellfish, the festival will offer oysters on half-shells or oyster buckets containing grilled oysters with drawn butter.

There will also be a station offering several fried food options, including shrimp, oysters, and chicken served with fries. A beverage bonanza will also take place, offering several Southern drink items.

Early bird tickets are priced at $15 and are available to the first 100 buyers, after which there will be a price increase of $20 for online purchases. General admission tickets include entry and entertainment, but food and beverages must be purchased separately.

Tickets can be purchased through the listing on the website of the hosting venue, Park Tavern. Attendees should note that this festival is restricted to individuals aged 21 and above. Dogs may attend, provided they are well behaved.

Poster printing is a way for organizers to get the word out about events like this one.

The festival will take place on Saturday, March 9, starting at 2:00 pm. Park Tavern is at 500 10th Street North East, Atlanta.
