Atlanta cooks up a food and beverage extravaganza

It will be a gastronomic showcase, featuring flavors of the region and beyond, at the annual Atlanta Food & Wine Festival coming next month.

Culinary experts from around the world will come together for four days in September to present gourmet foods, wine, beer, and craft spirits at this end-of-summer celebration. More than 150 exceptional chefs will showcase their talents alongside sommeliers and mixologists.

Flyer printing companies are often used to provide advertising materials that help spread the word about events such as this.

The festival began in 2011 and has become an event that food and drink lovers do not want to miss. It includes a popular walkthrough area of more than five dozen tasting tents where food will be prepared that satisfies various palates and diets.

This year there will be two nighttime- and two daytime-themed events with food and beverage pairings. Top local chefs will be highlighted in Georgia Grown, an evening when they will present their Southern-inspired dishes. One of the daytime events is Thrill of the Grill, a barbecue extravaganza of all foods charred, blackened, and grilled.

The adult-only festival also features curated intimate dinners at participating area restaurants, and demonstrations of food preparation methods and techniques.

The Atlanta Food & Wine Festival is September 12 to 15 at restaurants throughout the city. The tasting tents will be set up in historic Forth Ward Park. Festival tickets are all-inclusive and available on the event website.
