Shrodrick Spikes will present ‘Diamonds are Forever’ in his upcoming exhibition taking place in Atlanta.
Celebrating the African American male’s feelings of love and relationships, the art exhibition is taking place in the D+S Contemporary Studio.
The exhibition was created by Spikes to honor his fiancée, named Diamond, and her love of vintage styles and the color white. He proposed to her this summer in an all-white themed private brunch.
This exhibition will cover three days, making it the longest-running solo exhibition for Spikes to date. He is a creative director, along with being an experience-based designer. He attended Savannah College of Art and Design, as well as Georgia State University. He studied with acclaimed lecturers and esteemed professors from across the globe. To date, he has held 13 exhibitions and most recently two events he calls “experiences.”
After COVID-19 struck, Spikes took a new approach to his creative endeavors with the goal of changing how people view art, design, wellness, and fashion resulting in Shrodrick Spikes Contemporary House.
