9Line LLC, which is a Tampa-based veteran-owned small business, has been awarded a $10.3m contract. The contract was awarded to the business by the U.S. Department of Defense.
The contract calls for 9Line LLC to provide advocate training and non-clinical case management for special operations forces service members who are ill, recovering, or injured. The company’s mission has always been to provide support to service members and this contract will enable them to focus more on a variety of services and recovery methods, including care coordination, career transition,and benevolence.
The company has received several awards in the past, along with recognition for being one of Florida’s top defense contractors. For this recognition they were awarded plaques – a product often produced by local Print shops.
9Line LLC employs 64 people, with just under a third of them located in the Tampa area. The employees are mostly veterans and family members, all devoted to ensuring our Wounded Warriors are taken care of. The company’s customers include the U.S. Special Operations Forces, the Army, and Navy.
Work falling under the contract will be performed in approximately 20 domestic and overseas locations. With options also available under the contract, the contract could grow to $59m with period of performance potential through 2024.
The work was bid out as a fixed price competitive bid and the government received seven bids for it from veteran-owned, service-disabled small businesses.
