An event celebrating special seafood will be coming to Tampa at the beginning of April.
The Shrimp & Oyster Festival will be an all-you-can-eat, high-energy festival recognized as one of Tampa's best-known spring food experiences.
Steamed and raw oysters and street corn will be available for purchase from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm and the all-you-can-eat buffet will run from 6:30 pm until closing at 9:00 pm. Other food options at the buffet will include baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw, and cookies. Beer and wine will also be available for purchase.
Seafood providers will be Arthur Savage (A.R. Savage & Son), Rusty Ferrell from Marine Electric/Rio Marine, and COX Seafood.
A local DJ will be providing music, and craft vendors will be onsite selling original wares.
Those selling crafts at events such as this may choose to have nautical images printed on their white and blue Business Cards.
All tickets to this event will be digital, each non-refundable ticket will have a unique QR code, and no physical tickets will be mailed.
Proceeds from this Propeller Club of Tampa Bay event will go to support the historic WWII USS America Victory Ship, its nonprofit museum and maritime programs, scholarships and other maritime nonprofits.
