What's Happening in Tampa, FL…

Tampa howls and screams

Busch Gardens is currently scaring the daylights out of visitors attending its annual Howl-O-Scream.

Five haunted houses - Stranglewood Estate, Shadows of Wonderland, D.H. Baggums' Circus of Fear, M.A.R.S., and Raven's Mill: Lambs to the Slaughter – are offering immersive horror elements along with spinetingling scares.

Four mobile scare teams roam the park. Previous years’ hordes included Clown Crew, Chainsaw Squad, Undead Patrol, and Carnivorous Creatures. Scare zones include The Pestilence, Breadcrumbs to Nowhere, Murders at Buckshot Ridge, and the returning Sawgrass Slaughter: Legend of the Skunk Ape.

Sinister shows Cirque X-Scream (a stunt show at the Stanleyville Theatre) and The Reckoning (a stage show about judgement day at the Dragon Fire Grill) are taking place, and DJ dance parties will be going on all night. Themed bars such as Sweaty Yeti, Day of the Dead Bar, and Cemetery Bar are also set up.

Marrakesh Market will feature The Shop of Horrors with apparel and home goods for souvenirs or gifts, while a Fright Feast will be an all-you-can eat occasion at the TreeTop Kitchen, taking place from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm and costing $45.

Entertainment centers like this often send pictures of some of their most impressive activities to local print shops to be included in their upcoming visitor brochure printing.

Busch Garden's Howl-O-Scream began earlier this month and will continue on selected dates until November 2.
