Tampa theme park celebrates holiday season
Busch Gardens Tampa's Christmas Town is open.
The park is a winter wonderland of themed displays and holiday lights. Holiday shows include a Holiday Skies Spectacular drone show and ice-skating performances including Christmas on Ice and Three Kings Journey. The Serengeti Light Show is a display of tens of thousands of twinkling lights choreographed to Carol of the Bells.
A walk-through of the Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer story features life-size vignettes done in story book style.
Characters from Sesame Street are available for photos. Santa's North Pole Experience is available for children to meet the Jolly Old Elf in his cozy cabin, give him their wish lists and pose with him for professional photos. Kids may also enjoy a train ride on the Holly Jolly Express. The train will serenade passengers with seasonal songs as it meanders through the garden's 65-acre veldt.
Large parks like this often have pictures taken during the festivities and have print shops include them in visitor guide brochure printing.
Santa's Christmas Workshop is in the Marrakesh Market and stuffed with nutcrackers and Christmas decor for sale. Christmas Town Village has holiday cabins selling seasonal treats.
Single day tickets start at $99.99, and beverage and food sampler lanyards begin at $35.99. General parking begins at $35.
Busch Gardens Tampa's Christmas Town is now open on selected days until January 5th.
