This year's Florida State Fair will be celebrating America's 250th birthday for 12 days in early February.
With the theme "America's Sunniest Celebration," the fair will have patriotic touches, including red, white, and blue surprises throughout the grounds.
Special events will include fireworks, live chalk art and mural painting, the Florida State Fair Baton Twirling Championships, a draft horse pull, and a demolition derby. On February 14, 15, and 16 from 8:00 pm to 8:30 pm, 500 drones will be part of the America 250 History Drone Show.
The Community Showcase Stage will feature performances by local musicians, dancers, community groups, and schools. Live music performances on February 5 will include Dennis Lee Band, Mark Dobson One Man Band, the Bus Stop Band, and Southern Express. Those performers playing on multiple days will include Strolling Boombox, Smokey Jones and the $3 Pistols, Frankie Raye, Rockland Road, and Buffalo Barfield.
Live shows will feature four circuses, racing pigs, an extreme motorcycle thrill show, and a daredevil stunt show, an educational agriculture experience, and a foam party. Food vendors at events like this often have Print shops create paper products featuring their logos or other graphic design elements.
