Tampa's Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) is featuring laser light shows in its Saunders Planetarium's Holloway Digital Dome Theatre.
Each show experience will have vivid laser visuals, special effects, and a themed soundtrack of popular songs. Right before each show, an astronomer will give a live star show taking guests on a trek through the night sky.
A laser light show featuring country music will take place on July 31 from 6:30 pm to 7:40 pm, with check-in beginning at 5:30 pm. Another light show later that evening will feature the music of U2. Check-in for this show will begin at 7:30 pm, with the show running from 8:15 pm to 9:25 pm.
On Friday, August 28 from 6:30 pm to 7:40 pm, the music for an early evening laser show will be from the band Rush, and the sounds of Genesis will accompany the later laser show, which will be running from 8:15 pm to 9:25 pm.
Tickets are $10 for museum members and $13 for non-members. The theatre seats 290 people. Tickets for events like this are usually printed at local Print shops a couple of months before the event is set to take place.
MOSI is located at 4801 E. Fowler Avenue, and the MOSI website is the place to go for tickets for all these shows.
