A popular solo artist and a band are teaming up for a new tour, with one of the cities on their list of dates being Tampa. This show is planned for mid-June.
Alanis Morissette is a Canadian singer, songwriter, activist, speaker, and actress. Her third LP, 1995’s “Jagged Little Pill,” scored her millions of fans, as well as a quintet of Grammy Awards. Her win for Album of the Year was historic, as she was the youngest act to ever receive it, an honor she held for 14 years.
The tour focused on the album also introduced the music world to the late Taylor Hawkins, who would become known as the Foo Fighters’ drummer. Among Morissette’s discography are hits like “You Oughta Know,” “Ironic,” “Precious Illusions,” “Hand in My Pocket,” and “Uninvited.”
The Triple Moon Tour will see Morissette’s friends Joan Jett and the Blackhearts join her. Live Nation is selling the tickets, with a mix of normal, VIP, and resale options. The prices fall into a range of $54.35 to $1,788.75. For many concerts, the performers will have their teams at several booths throughout the hosting venue to sell merchandise. This may include a graphic design which is either themed around the tour or the artist and their work.
The show is taking place on Wednesday, June 19, with a beginning time of 7:00 pm.
