The Oxford Exchange in Tampa will be the starting point for the Riverwalk Dine and Wine Tour in Tampa in August. The event will allow attendees to explore Tampa’s downtown and riverfront areas.
The tour is organized by Tamp Bay Food Tours who host a variety of events throughout the area. This particular event is three hours long and will begin with champagne and socializing at Oxford Exchange. This provides the small group, usually no more than a dozen, an opportunity to mingle and meet each other.
Organizers likely using printing services to obtain materials to provide attendees with information on the 4 to 5 restaurants they visit as well as some of the sites along the way. The walking tour provides an opportunity to see all that Tampa’s Downtown and Riverwalk has to offer.
Whiles strolling to each restaurant the tour guide will explain the historic buildings and city history along the way. Among the sites that will be seen will be the 1891 Tampa Bay Hotel, which is now a historic landmark, and the University of Tampa’s Plant Hall. Once at the restaurant, the group will be able to enjoy the wine pairings chosen for each tasting.
The event will take place on Thursday, August 1, beginning at 5:00 pm. The address for Oxford Exchange is 420 West Kennedy Boulevard, and the cost for the event is $78 per person.
