Taste of Latino comes to Tampa area this fall

The 2nd Annual Ford’s Taste of Latino is to make a fall appearance in Tampa. The festival combines wine, food, music, and art into one fun-filled, action-packed day.

Guests can enjoy live music and dancing along with special performances throughout the event. The family-friendly festival welcomes kids of all ages along with leashed dogs.

Vendors will be on hand offering tasty temptations as well as products. Typically, exhibitors work with local Print shops in preparation for festivals by contracting for poster printing. Posters can be created and printed in full color in any size desired and placed by the vendor booth or throughout the venue.

The Cuban Sandwich Winners Circle provides samples of the best Cuban sandwiches, winners from the various contests. Champions will showcase the best of the best in cultural dishes from Mexico, Cuba, Peru, Spain, Columbia, and Puerto Rico. A Top Latino Chef Contest will take place with three competition categories including appetizers, main dishes, and desserts.

VIP tickets include red carpet pictures, featured food sampling, refreshments, and contest entries. The Kids Chef Showdown is also part of the VIP experience as a behind-the-scenes peek allows participants to see chefs’ entries from across the globe.

The Taste of Latino will take place Sunday, October 18 at Centennial Park located at 1800 E. 8th Ave. It will begin at 11:00 am until 6:00 pm.
