U.S. News and World Report’s has released its list of top hospitals three Tampa area hospitals have made it to the top 10 for the state of Florida. These rankings are listed in the 2019-20 U.S. News Best Hospitals Rankings which ranks the top hospitals in the nation.
Tampa General Hospital was the highest of the Tampa Bay area hospitals coming in at number three. With various specialties, the hospital was also in the top 50 for hospitals ranked across the country. The five specialties the hospital is known for are Diabetes and Endocrinology, Gastroenterology and GI Surgery, Nephrology, Orthopedics, and Urology.
The two other hospitals that reached the top 10 are Sarasota Memorial Hospital and Morton Plant Hospital, which ranked eighth and ninth respectively. Sarasota Memorial Hospital was included in a very small percentage of the 4,500 ranked who earned top scores in the nine specialties rated.
Highly commended hospitals may work with Print shops to obtain Letterheads and Promotional Products to enhance their image by advertising awards they win. For example, Sarasota Memorial Hospital was named the top "Best Regional Hospital" in its metropolitan area.
