Music festival headed for Tampa

A multiday event celebrating music will be taking place in Tampa in late May.

Sunset Music Festival is an event where guests are able to see a variety of acts from several genres of music. The shows will feature artists such as Skrillex, Diplo, Liquid Stranger, Gordo, Shiverz, Atliens, and Crystal Skies. At the time of writing, the entire line-up has not yet been announced, so more names will be revealed in the future.

Guests are asked to adhere to rules and safety policies, detailed accounts of which can be found through the event website. While items known as “totems” are allowed to be brought along, it is a requirement that must not be capable of hurting anyone or put in the ground. They also must not contain metal. Drink containers of various kinds are permitted, but have a chance of being inspected, so they must be both clear and removable.

Those who are aged 21 or older will need to have their ID in order to be allowed alcohol, although people from age 18 up may enter provided they are carrying proof of age. Vendors will be present, selling a variety of festival-related products, some of them featuring a unique graphic design. Food and drinks will also be available, along with stations to refill a water bottle.

Tickets are between $149.96 and $319.95, with the latter being the price for the VIP package. The event will be held from 4:00 pm to midnight each day on May 27, May 28, and May 29. It will be located at Raymond James Stadium.
