Fundraiser on tap for charity trio

Three Tampa charities are set to benefit from a fundraiser that promises luxury in abundance.

‘Quintessence’ will allow people to get a close look at exotic cars, luxury yachts, and private jets, before finishing off with a meal. This will all be in aid of Julie Weintraub's Hands Across the Bay, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Ryan Nece Foundation

More than 400 guests are expected to enjoy the evening, which will take place at the Peter O. Knight Airport located on Davis Islands, about five minutes from Tampa's downtown. There will be bars and dinner buffets set up among the various expensive “toys” on display.

There will be entertainment as well, including aerialists and Japanese drummers. The evening's standout is Florida native Sisaundra Lewis, who appeared on the sixth season of ‘The Voice’ on NBC.

A fashion show, presented by retailer J. McLauglin, will take place in a hangar, giving a different meaning to the word ‘runway’. Travel, dining, and gift packages will be auctioned off at the fashion show, then attendees will be invited to dance under the stars to end the evening.

Quintessence takes place this evening from 6:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with tickets priced at $200 for general seating, or $3,000 for a 10-place table complete with a butler. Event organizers could work with a banner printing company to create a colorful outdoor item for the evening.
