BayCare is hosting an event called Expedition Survivor to honor survivors of cancer in a few weeks.
Held every year, the event is designed to recognize all the brave souls who have endured cancer and overcome it, and also to remember those who were not able to defeat the disease. All people affected by cancer, whether it was people who were diagnosed, friends and family of patients, or caregivers are invited to attend. People can also attend regardless of where they got their treatment. Event organizers often include their Logo Design on Posters for such events.
Expedition Survivor will be at ZooTampa. Guests will be able to visit the zoo and see the animals form 9:30 am to 8:00 pm. After 4:00 pm, attendees will have exclusive access to the zoo and the chance to engage in special activities.
The entertainment to expect at Expedition Survivor includes:
- animal shows such as ZooTampa’s Birds of Prey show
- watching the animals get fed
- special activities set up for kids
- DJs from 105.5 The Dove and Magic 94.9 spinning music
- live music shows from a Jimmy Buffet tribute band and the Landsharks
- photo ops at several locations around the zoo
Every cancer survivor is allowed to bring up to five other guests to celebrate with. Tickets for guests will be sold at $12.24 and they will receive a $10 voucher for food and drinks. Pre-registration closes on January 24, with Expedition Survivor taking place February 1 at Lowry Park in Tampa.
