Sunrise to hold alligator-themed race

Santiago Pérez Productions will organize a competitive racing event at Markham Park in Sunrise.

Alligator the Race is a biking experience where athletes can participate in several types of competitive events. This year’s event will include categories such as the freestyle exhibition, pump track competition, high jump bunny hop competition, and kids’ race. Those who compete in expert categories during the event can earn cash prizes of up to $1,000. Participants are asked to pick up their racing packets from Alex’s Bicycle Pro Shop in Weston, Florida.

There will also be several types of entertainment held at Alligator the Race. Guests can listen to live musical performances from groups such as Ambush, Lisa’s Nightmare, and the School of Rock. Attendees will get to see multiple BMX stunt shows throughout the event. There will even be a movie shown on the first day of the competition. People can also participate in a night ride at the end of the event’s first day.

The racing competition will be held on Saturday, January 31st from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and Sunday, February 1st from 8:15 am to 5:15 pm. Those who are in the biking experts and regular sports categories can register for $50. Junior mountain bikers may pay $15, and kids can join for $20. Organizers of similar athletic activities can utilize banner printing to make ads that showcase their sponsors and inform consumers about their events.
