The Sunrise Civic Center will host a convention in March for people interested in pop culture, games, and anime.
The Sunrise Comic Con is an event that gives pop culture fans a space to meet their peers and participate in activities related to their niche interests. There will be many special guests at this year’s con, including Snarky Jay Cosplay, Marius Groover, and Dr. Bill Slevin. The event will also feature authors and artists such as Carlos Aleman and Silverback. Attendees can participate in a Smash Ultimate Tournament, and there will be several arcade machines at the civic center.
The convention will have numerous panels and live performances for guests to enjoy. There will be a show by the School of Rock, and Rizzle’s Rangers will host The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along. Fantasticarium will have a theme song guessing game where people can win prizes, and AMPdUzi will hold a high-energy challenge that lets audience members compete to see who the best silent performer is. There will also be discussions on topics like cosplaying with disabilities and ballroom etiquette.
The Sunrise Comic Con will be held on Saturday, March 14 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Adults can purchase tickets to the event for $10, and kids 12 and younger can enter for $5. Ticket prices will increase on March 7. Organizers of similar pop culture conventions can use brochure printing services to make custom event schedules for their attendees.
