Orlando to host workshop for student athletes

Registration for the Florida Student-Athlete Leadership Seminar of 2025 in Orlando is now open.

This is a seminar that lasts one day and is where student athletes can develop leadership skills, so as to be able to provide positive influences on their teams, schools, and throughout the community.

There will be three keynote sessions and a closing session, formed of a panel of student athletes. The first keynote will be delivered by Hygens Succes on the 10 Keys to College Success. Succes was a first-generation college student with immigrant parents and will share his college journey, detailing mistakes he made and lessons learned.

The second keynote will be by Buck Martinez, the founder of Student ACES, a non-profit organization that develops student athletes in high school to become adults of integrity, honor, and character. The third keynote will be by Misty Buck, who is known for helping high achievers and athletes transform their inner selves.

The cost of attendance at the seminar is $32 per student-athlete and includes lunch. Individual attendees are responsible for transportation and lodging costs for those not within commuting distance of Orlando.

Such events can benefit from brochure printing to provide more details about registration and speakers.

The seminar will take place on Tuesday, July 22 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Faith Christian Academy.
