Orlando hosts annual music event

SeaWorld Orlando will highlight Latin musicians and entertainers at the Viva la Música Latin Festival.

The first Viva Música la Festival was held in 2009 and had performances from local artist, folk dance groups, and salsa dancers. This year’s festival will have all that and more with special performances from Jerry Rivera and Latin Grammy winner, Victor Manuelle.

The festival takes place over four Saturdays and is included with park admission, which starts from $99. Those interested can reserve front row seats starting from $15.

Attendees will also sample authentic Latin cuisine made by SeaWorld’s Executive Chef Hector Colon. The sampler package costs $25 and includes five samples of signature dishes and 15% off the purchase of food and beverage on the event pathway.

Some dishes include roasted pork with Caribbean spices, ripe plantain stuffed with seasoned ground beef, shaved ice with tropical flavored syrup, and sandwiches containing roast pork, chicken, steak and cheese.

Other aspects of Latin culture will be on display, with the return of the Viva la Música garden and booths selling items made by Latin artists. Poster printing is a way to provide information on music festivals and events such as these.

SeaWorld Orlando is at 7007 Sea World Drive in Orlando, Florida 32821. Those interested in attending can call (407) 351-3600 or visit the website for more information. It will be held every Saturday from April 16 to May 14, except April 30.
