Select Walt Disney World Resort hotels in Orlando are now offering a Luggage Assistance service wherein they can skip the check-in lines at the airport. This service is available for Southwest flights leaving from Orlando International Airport (MCO).
This service enables guests to leave their Bags already checked in at their resort hotel. A delivery of luggage is made to Southwest Airlines at the airport so guests can go directly to their flight. Guests can then pick up their luggage at baggage claim at their destination.
Among the hotels at which this service is available are Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, and Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort.
Luggage service is available from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. every day. Guests can drop off their luggage the night before by 1:00 a.m. if their flight departs before 1:00 p.m. or at least four hours before departure if their flight departs at or after 1:00 p.m. Guests need to drop off their luggage in the lobby area of their hotel and provide a valid form of photo identification.
If the flight of a guest in Southwest is cancelled their luggage will be delivered to the new flight. Guests will be to download or Print their boarding passes before the drop off as each resort does not offer printing services.
