New administrative officer appointed in Orlando

FJ Flynn has been announced as the Chief Administrative Officer for the city of Orlando by mayor Buddy Dyer.

Such announcements often mean there is a need for business card printing services to serve as a point of contact with the community.

The operating departments of the city of Orlando are guided by the Chief Administrative Officer to ensure that city services are delivered in an efficient, consistent, and responsible manner, while also providing commendable customer service. The office provides coordination, direction, guidance, and leadership of the initiatives and services of the city.

Flynn is currently serving as Deputy Chief Administrative Officer and will replace Kevin Edmonds, who is the current Chief Administrative Officer, when he retires this month. Flynn has worked at Orlando City Hall for 25 years, including five years as Deputy Chief Administrative Officer. His other responsibilities have included serving as Division Manager of the Transportation Planning Division, Deputy Director of the Transportation Department, and Deputy Director of Economic Development.

Dyer said that Flynn has a strong understanding of the operations in the departments of the city and has the experience to serve as Chief Administrative Officer. He is confident that under the leadership of Flynn, the community will be provided with the critical municipal programs, services, and amenities by the city upon which businesses, residents, and visitors rely.
