Financial help center opens in Orlando
The West Lakes Financial Wellbeing Center of Lift Orlando is now open in Orlando.
It is on S. Tampa Avenue and it spans 1,900 square feet. The center is expected to provide essential tools for education, economic mobility, and empowerment by increasing financial literacy.
The West Lakes Financial Wellbeing Center began its programmes in 2018 and since then has become an important community resource. It has partnered with Goodwill Industries of Central Florida, which enables it to provide Prosperity Planning that will support one-on-one financial mentorship sessions. Cohorts from the Lift Orlando Small Business Institute will offer training that will help with workforce development, upskilling, and job placement.
The center itself has conference space for community meetings, cohorts of the Lift Orlando Small Business Institute, and workshops; a podcast room for recording content; two huddle rooms for collaborative learning and group discussions; and collaborative spaces with whiteboard walls for idea generation and brainstorming.
Such new centers often rely on brochure printing to provide more information about their services and other offerings.

He said that this will be a dedicated location for residents that will increase access to their Prosperity Planning program.
