Festive events featured at historic site in Orlando

Leu Gardens in Orlando is hosting several events for the holiday season.

The promotion of such special events is often carried out with Flyers created by local Print shops and distributed throughout a city.

Holiday Blooms is a botanical oasis with displays of live plants featuring bromeliads, amaryllis, poinsettias, and orchids and is designed to further the mission of the Gardens to encourage visitors to better understand and appreciate plants.

Dazzling Nights is a seasonal display of color and lights that adds a magical atmosphere to the Gardens. There are a tunnel of lights, interactive lights, lanterns hanging from grand camphor trees, and a nightly snowfall with live music, beer and wine, and sweet treats for the entire family.

The Gardens are open daily from 9:00am to 4:00pm, while Dazzling Nights are from 5:00pm to 10:00pm daily and require a separate ticket for admission.

Another activity is the Holiday Gnome Hunt, where people of all ages can delight in finding these special seasonal gnomes throughout the Gardens.

Leu Gardens and the Historic Leu House Museum were originally created and built in 1888. Mary Jane and Harry P. Leu gifted the property to the city of Orlando in 1961. Although four different families have lived on the property since its inception, today it is a showcase of the architectural styles of the 19th and 20th centuries, telling the story of the origins of the gardens.
