Ranier Munns, head attorney of Bogin Munns & Munns in Orlando alongside his brother Rulon, recently announced that he is planning a grand opening of Wild Florida Airboats & Wildlife Park in June.
No doubt the brothers will be using services like flyer printing to let those in the industry become aware of his park so as to attract more tourists.
An exotic location, the park is a zoo in a natural area, but a more remote one than some other attractions in the Orlando area. Ranier has a collection of unusual animals that range from African longhorn Watusis to three-toed sloths. His first animal was a water buffalo, which his 12 children and wife gave him for Christmas in 1998 when the family moved to the area in Osceola County.
The Park is on 4,500 acres on Cypress Lake and is bounded by an area managed by the state and controlled by the South Florida Water Management District and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Service. The Park is part of the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes Area and is preserved as it is a source of water for the Everglades National Park and Lake Okeechobee.
According to Ranier, Wild Florida provides a window to residents of Orlando, and others who visit the area, of what the real Florida is like.
