Crayola experience will draw families to Orlando Mall
Crayola recently announced that they will be opening a Crayola Experience retail store and hand-on attraction space in the Florida Mall in Orlando.
According to Crayola's vice president of corporate strategy and development, Victoria Lozano, it will be similar to the original one in Easton, Pennsylvania, which is the company’s headquarters, and will have 25 family-friendly artistic activities.
The kids will have digital tools and be able to project their artwork onto big screens, insert a picture of themselves into a coloring-book page, learn how to make crayons, and print personalized crayon labels.
Lozano added it will also be educational, but done in a way so that kids will not even know they are learning. There will be an admission charge that has not been determined for single days and for an annual pass. Typically, kids spend four or five hours at the store, says Lozano.
The Crayola Experience will be two stories in height and 70,000 square feet in size. A large collection of Crayola products will also be for sale and there will be no charge to browse the retail space.
General Manager of the Florida Mall, Brian Hanson, commented that Crayola will be a good fit for the Mall with its family dynamic and its popularity not only in the United States but around the world.
Poster printing might be used to promote this store to families in the community and highlight the educational aspects of this special attraction.
