Ocoee to stuff a cruiser for local kids
Later this month, the Ocoee police department has organized an activity that will make the holidays a lot brighter for children in need, and it is hoping the public will be generous in its support.
The police will have a cruiser parked on site at the 10500 W. Colonial Drive Wal-Mart location, and the public is asked to drop off new, unwrapped toys. A goal has been set for the day of filling the car with a many toys as possible, and these will be distributed to local children through the department’s Holiday Toys for Kids in Need program.
To add to the excitement of the occasion, The Wolf 103.1 will be live on location broadcasting for the day. Donations can be dropped off between the hours of 10:00 am until 5:00 pm, and all will be welcome. Poster printing can be used to produce a wide assortment of large marketing materials for an event like this, which can help to ensure that it is a big success.
This charitable function, which challenges the community to show local kids they care, has been planned for Saturday, July 29. The Ocoee Police Department has added further details about this initiative to the city’s website, and the public is invited to visit this should they have questions to ask or require more info.
