Children's entertainer to hold science show at Ocoee library

The Winter Garden Branch Library in Ocoee will have a program in June where children can learn about the carbon cycle.

The Carbon Conundrum is a comedy show by Professor Universe where kids can discover how carbon moves through the world. The program will cover topics such as geological facts about Earth and how carbon moves between plants and animals. The show will take children on an adventure to save the world by using the carbon cycle. The program is part of a traveling show that will be held at several venues, including the Fruita Branch Library and Palisade Branch Library.

Professor Universe is a children’s entertainer who performs shows on many educational topics. A few of his past performances include Battle of the Body and Found in the Stars. Dallas Akins, the actor behind Professor Universe, went to school at Trinity University and Ecole Philippe Gaulier. Akins is also the founder of WOW O’Clock. He has created shows that have toured in the United States and Europe.

The comedy show will be held on Tuesday, June 16 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. There are limited seats available at the venue, so children must register in advance to see the show.
