Jazz festival returns to Ocoee

The City of Ocoee and the HAPCO Music Foundation have announced Jazz Fest Ocoee 2026, the fourth year for the popular event. Attendees can expect to hear diverse styles such as bebop, swing, and funk in a relaxed, outdoor setting.

Scott Wilson & the UF Jazz Allstars are the performers for the evening’s entertainment. Wilson serves as Director of Jazz Studies at the University of Florida. His many accomplishments include album production and co-writing tracks with Maurice White of Earth, Wind & Fire. Graphic design products such as flyer printing help promote public events.

HAPCO is a nonprofit focused on educational programs for young people wishing to develop musical, culinary, or artistic skills, particularly in disadvantaged areas. Its educational offerings span Florida, Texas, and Georgia. The company’s musical outreach includes instruction from professional musicians, clinics, camps, private lessons, and live performances. All this is provided to the students free of charge. According to the HAPCO website, the organization has supported the education of over 30,000 young people.

The HAPCO Jazz Fest Ocoee 2026 will be on Friday, March 20 from 6:00 to 10:00 PM. The venue is the Ocoee Lakeshore Center, located at 125 North Lakeshore Drive. The event is free with plenty of parking. This is an outdoor event, so concertgoers are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs. Picnic items are welcome, although no alcoholic beverages are allowed. VIP Wine & Dine Tickets are available for $75 and can be purchased through the official website.
