Independent bookstore opens in New Port Richey

Novel in the Neighborhood, a family-owned bookstore, is now open in New Port Richey.

Located on Old County Road 54, the store sells puzzles, new Books, literary gifts, and games. The store is run by Tiffany Butts and her son, Tristan. Tiffany’s husband, Chris, is the volunteer in charge of maintenance, while her younger son, Tyler, will be selling Books.

Tiffnay said that it has always been a dream of hers to open a store like this as she has always been an avid reader. She raised her sons to be avid readers as well. Each member of the family has their owns interested so the selection of Books is highly curated.

The store has a commercial style Keurig with 20 different flavors of tea and coffee, along with condiments and Monin syrups. The cost for each cup is $3.00 and the proceeds of the sales go to support the schools, teachers, students, and the Reading Rewards Programs of the Pasco County Schools.

Stores like this can benefit from brochure printing to promote their offerings and their efforts to give back to the community.

The store is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The hours on Friday are from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and Sunday hours are from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
