Current tenants at The Grove include Novus Realty, The Learning Experience, Dent Lounge, Flamingo Road Animal Hospital, and Nail & Lash Spa. The plaza aims to offer a pedestrian-friendly shopping experience that captures Miramar culture. The project had been in the works since 2018, as a collaboration between Elit LLC and Miramar Investment Fund. The site consists of 5.62 acres of urban space and a large and small building, with the ability to expand to 33,383 square feet.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by a host of local authorities, including Broward County Commissioner Barbara Sharief and Miramar Vice Mayor Maxwell Chambers. New shopping locations often use tools like flyer printing and local media advertisements to notify potential shoppers of the opening and items on sale. Elit co-founder Pablo E. Jeannot put The Grove in the context of Miramar’s growth:
“Over the last 10 to 15 years, the City of Miramar has been an emerging edge city with offices, educational facilities, retail centers and residential communities. We have the benefit of first-class, versatile offerings in an easily accessible and well-trafficked area.”
The Grove officially opened in November and is now open for visitors. Future tenants include a Domino’s Pizza location, which will be built on an adjacent out-parcel.
