New Spanish television network expands programming

The Telemundo Station Group, headquartered in Miramar, recently announced that it will launching a new television network named TeleXitos, which will offer viewers adventure and action shows along with feature films in Spanish.

It will first be made available in the main Spanish-speaking markets in the United States, such as Miami, New York, and Los Angeles, and then be distributed to local stations across the country. As the programming reaches more communities, the network could hire Print companies to create mailers to send to Hispanic residents informing them of the new network.

According to the President of the Telemundo Station Group, Manuel Martinez, being able to expand its offerings to Spanish-speaking viewers all across the country is “exciting”, as these viewers will have the opportunity to see programming that is more relevant and of greater interest to them.

Viewers will be able to watch blockbuster adventure and action movies, as well as series from the 1970s to 2000s in Spanish. Some of the featured programs will include Miami Vice and The A Team, as well as the movies The Interpreter and Van Helsing.

It is expected that more than 4.5 million Hispanic households across the country will be able to watch the station. Programs will be available 24 hours a day and will add to existing Telemundo content with local items of interest, such as sports, news, and special events.
