Any Miramar residents considering a high-flying career in aviation may want to save the date for an event that may help them hone their wings.
The Aviation Career Expo will welcome representatives of several airlines, such as Spirit Airlines, Skywest, and Republic Airways, and it will be on offer at Wayman Aviation Academy in Pembroke Pines. It will be running for four hours, and its agenda offers a variety of learning and networking opportunities for budding aviators.
Attendees will be invited to meet airline captains in person, as well as spokespersons for pilot organizations. Discovery flights will be available for $50, and information will be provided about tuition rates as well as financing options that may be available to support their study. International students are encouraged to take part, and details about the venue’s summer program for high school students will be provided. Admission will be free.
An open house or similar event gives the public an opportunity to learn more about a company, school, or institution. Signage for a function can be prepared by a banner printing company, which can also perform custom graphic design work.
