Miramar goes virtual with careers event

The Concorde Career Institute’s Miramar campus is offers career training conferences for future healthcare professionals, and a virtual info session next month will give prospective students a look into the different healthcare programs offered at the institution.

The Institute was originally the Florida College of Medical & Dental Assistants until the Concorde Career Colleges Inc. took it over in 1974. It is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE) and the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), and has 17 campuses across the U.S. The one in Miramar has over 20 student-centered programs that provide hands-on training to become pharmacy technicians, medical assistants, occupational therapist assistants, dental assistants, and other medical professionals.

Concorde also provides a blended training framework that combines online and in-person classes with on-the-job experiences.

The virtual events are free for all who are interested in attending. Attendees will learn about admission requirements, curriculum details, cost of tuition, program start dates, and length of study. Potential students will also learn about financial aid options. Brochure printing is a great way for organizers and schools to provide information about events or programs offered.

The info session will be held Friday, August 19. Each session will start at 5:30 pm and end at 6:30 pm. Visit the event listing to register or call 754-206-7959 for more information.
