The Mayor’s Office in Miramar, Florida will host a community event this January.
The occasion is ‘The Longest Table’, and it offers all residents the opportunity to socialize with others. It is an annual event that aims to offer a space for establishing connections. The event is family friendly and offers food, drink, and a friendly ambience for patrons to enjoy.
The event takes place at night around an extremely long table where guests may enjoy their meal, after which they may begin conversations with others. Attendees can look forward to a productive evening getting to know people from a variety of industries. The affair’s goal is to promote unity among diversified groups in the community.
This is the event’s third staging, and comes as an initiative from the current Mayor of Miramar, Wayne Messam. With this dinner, he aims to provide a sense of place and belonging to the residents, while providing a casual and relaxing atmosphere that allows them to do so.
