Guests at a Miramar area luncheon this May will be recognizing just how important mothers are.
The Signature Grand in Davies will be the venue for the 30th Annual Mother's Day Luncheon, which is being presented thanks to the Memorial Healthcare System. It was explained that it will offer a tip of the hat to moms who have gone above and beyond, and dads will be recognized as well, as attendees pay tribute to those carrying out what has been described as the toughest job in the world.
This yearly gathering is one of its organizer’s signature events, and the proceeds from the day will benefit at least 3,000 area families that can use a helping hand. It tends to attract a diverse group of both business and community leaders, and it will open with a meet-and-greet hour where ticketholders will be invited to bid on items in the silent auction, and this will be followed by the meal and program.
As with many not-for-profit groups, the planners of the celebration are counting on the generosity of the local business community. Financial contributions and donations of Corporate Gifts in kind will be greatly appreciated.
