The Florida Technical College invites all everyone to bring their friends and family and celebrate the season with them a free event.
The Winter Festival is a community event designed to allow everyone the opportunity to have some seasonal fun together. Games and raffles, along with a visit from Santa, are just a few of the family-friendly activities planned for the event. Information about the technical school and the programs it offers will also be available during the festival.
Local vendors will be on hand with holiday-related gifts and Promotional Products. Children can line up to have a free photo taken with Santa. Games and activities for all ages will take place throughout the event and Power 94 FM will supply the live music. All guests receive complimentary candy canes and cookies and have the chance to win a raffle prize, provided they register and are present at the time of the prize drawing.
There is no admission fee to attend, but the organizers remind everyone to register on the Eventbrite website (which also has more info about the event) or when entering to qualify for a raffle prize. The Winter Carnival is on Saturday, December 1 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Florida Technical College Pembroke Pines campus. The campus is located at 12520 Pines Boulevard in Pembroke.
