First Annual Creole Culture Festival coming in October

The city of Miramar will be home to the First Annual Madame Gougousse Creole Culture Festival this fall. The festival will highlight the music and foods of the Caribbean.

Caribbean foods will be available providing a variety of recipes and Menus sure to represent the home countries of many of the attendees. Other vendors will be at the festival selling art, jewelry and other items representing the various island countries.

Hosts will include DP Jaz and DJ Wicked. Performers who will take the stage on Saturday include Disip, Kai, and Nessa Preppy. Sunday’s performers include T-Vice, Kes the Band, Gabel and Nailah Blackman.
