The show is called Laugh Responsibly and is headlined by the duo of Ity and Fancy Cat. The pair is known for a popular YouTube channel and TV’s Ity & Fancy Cat Show, which are full of pranks and manic comedy. Miramar is home to a large population with Caribbean roots, who may already be fans of the duo.
Adding to the night’s Caribbean flavour will be Jamaican comedian Rohan Gunter, who has toured the South Florida area extensively over the last decade. Rounding out the bill will be Michael Parenti, who draws humour in the contrast between his New York upbringing and current life in Orange, Florida.
Laugh Responsibly is a follow-up to previous events under the title of Caribbean Comedy Night, which have featured Gunter alongside comedians like Chris Daley, Nikki Crosby, and Majah Hype. Comedy shows like this typically feature a well-known headliner alongside several up-and-coming performers and can be advertised with the help of local media and printing services.
Marketing for the event has focused on Ity and Fancy Cat:
“The duo has captured hearts, engendered praise and evoked uncontrollable laughter among audiences.”
The Laugh Responsibly comedy show will take place at the Miramar Cultural Centre on the afternoon of December 19.
