The Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort located in Miramar recently announced that its Annual Sandestin Wine Festival donated $57,500 to three charities in the local area.
Checks totaling $25,000 each were given to the Sandestin Foundation for Kids and the Emerald Coast Fisher House, while $7,500 was given to the Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center, which was a new recipient this year.
According to the executive director of The Village of Baytowne Wharf, Alan Meyers, the festival, now in its 30th year, is committed to supporting the local community. The amount raised this year was double that of last year due to community partners, sponsorships, visitors, and people from the local community. The hope is to continue to increase the amount raised to benefit local charities.
President of Fisher House of the Emerald Coast, Inc., Teresa Halverson, commented that the partnership with the Neighborhood Association of Baytowne Wharf and the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, and the generosity of both, has helped to keep military families together during an intense medical situation.
The Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort might want to use various printing services to create Flyers and other printed materials announcing next year’s festival in April, featuring grand wine tastings, seminars, and wine dinners, as well as the Sparkling Wine and Holiday Lights in The Village of Baytowne Wharf in November.
