Annual fall festival returns to Miramar

The Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital will hold its annual Fall Festival on Halloween. Due to construction the event location has changed to Memorial Hospital Miramar this year.

Children attending this event can wear their Halloween costumes and enjoy trick or treating in a safe environment. There will be many activities for the kids, including a photo booth, bounce houses and a pumpkin patch. Children will also have an opportunity to interact with various superheroes who will be making an appearance at the festival.

Attendees can also enjoy various refreshments, a pumpkin decorating contest and play along with “guess the ghoulish food”. Hands on arts and crafts activities will be available where kids can make their Halloween-themed items.

Parents will have the opportunity to obtain information about the programs and services the hospital has to offer. Hospital often use Print shops for brochure printing services to obtain material to distribute at events and to potential patients.

Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital offers a variety of pediatric services including emergency care, neurology, sports medicine, and cancer care. The hospital has several facilities in southern Florida. The hospital was established in 1992 and accepts donations, including toys to help the children in its care. Volunteers are also sought for various functions, including events like the fall festival.

The fall festival will be held on Thursday, October 31 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Memorial Hospital Miramar is located at 1901 Southwest 172nd Avenue. There is no charge to attend this event.
